Revenge of the Library Ghost

By: Diana Corbitt

A year after Theresa Martinez and her British friend, Kerry, won the Ghosters contest, her younger brother Joey finds himself in the middle of a new supernatural mystery.

Strange things are happening at his school library, cold blasts of air, flickering lights, and books flying off the shelves. Joey, who has Asperger’s Syndrome, is curious rather than frightened. His best friend Elbie, who lives above his family's funeral home, is no stranger to ghosts. At first, the boys think the ghost is just playing tricks, but when books start landing at their feet with titles like Stolen Treasure and Hostage, they realize the spirit is trying to communicate. Knowing they’ll need all the help they can get, Joey calls in his sister Theresa and her friend Kerry, both experienced ghost-hunters.

As the team investigates, they dig deeper into the library’s past, uncovering hidden secrets that tie back to a long-forgotten tragedy. But solving the mystery is not as easy as it seems. Each clue leads to new questions, and not all the spirits they encounter are friendly. With their nerves tested, the Ghosters must work together to help the restless ghost find peace.

Secrets of the Bloody Tower

By: Diana Corbitt

Theresa’s father is invited on a book tour in England, and Kerry and Joey are thrilled to join him. They stay with Kerry’s grandmother in London, where they explore historical landmarks, including the Tower of London. Gran, a former history professor, shares legends of haunted places, but the friends soon discover that the Bloody Tower holds more than just old stories, it holds a very real, restless spirit.

While navigating the chilling corridors of the tower, they discover the ghosts of two young murdered princes who have an urgent request. They want the kids to find their hidden five-hundred-year-old remains and have their bones buried at Westminster Abbey where they belong. As they dig deeper, they begin unraveling the tower’s dark secrets to this unsolved historical mystery.

The adventure forces them to face their fears, trust in each other’s abilities, and accept the help of friendly spirits who are also trapped between worlds. Can the children get to the bottom of this mystery and help these restless ghosts?

About the Author

Diana Corbitt has lived in northern California her entire life. She and her husband Michael have two sons who stop by often. Along with her wonderful family, she has a crazy little beagle named JB Books, a fluffy little black and white kitty named Arya Stark, and a crazy little orange tabby named Buster. Diana loves the beach, traveling, and eating popcorn at the movies. Although she’s willing to watch pretty much any movie to satisfy her craving for popcorn, the scary ones are her go to. Gotta get that rush!

She loves scary books too, so it's no wonder Steven King has always been her favorite author. A WARNING TO KIDS: King's books can really get to you, so talk to your parents before you read. More than one kept her up at night back when she was in middle school.

Diana has authored four middle-grade books in the Ghosters series. Able to see ghosts, characters use this ability to help the spirits that need it. Ghosters books are filled with adventure, thrills, and laughs.

She’s also begun an adult series of paranormal police procedural mysteries. The first book, Dead Woman Walking, stars Izzy Santos, a young police officer who, with the help of her paranormal aunt, manages to solve strange cases that no one in the small coastal town of Rocky Harbor could even imagine.

Her work has also been published in several online magazines.
