Aliens feel that they do not have enough underpants in space and so of course they decide to go on a mission to find some. Their adventure takes them to Earth to stock up, everyone knows earth has a lot of different types of underpants.
The bright and bold illustrations further add to the stories creativity and humor. I mean lets be serious, I don't think there's a kid out there that wouldn't find the premise of this story absolutely hilarious.
For all the teachers or home-school parents out there it's worth noting that this big has a few important qualities that are useful in educational settings. One is that the use of rhyming words bring this book a certain element of flow and lexical creativity. Also there's a website that has a bunch of educational activities to go with the story. Of course due to the outrageous elements within the book it's very handy in a classroom setting to spark conversation.
Finally and maybe the most valuable aspect of this book is that kids find it hilarious and super entertaining!
